“UIC”, the Company was established in 1984 and it was rebuilt in 2000 after a Major fire accident.UIC was basically established to commence the second Five-Years Plan that demanded locally made Cigarettes with International Quality in order to save hard currency as well as to provide the work opportunities for the local people. The Company satisfies the local Market need and Exports its production to Iraq and the African Horn States.

1938 : Aden city , the capital of the ex-southern Yemen , witnessed the early beginnings of the Group’s activities with an initiative from the late Hayel Saeed Anam and his brothers, in trading field . The beginning was humble . It started with distributing consumer goods . Then , the activities were developed to became a part of the movement of import , export and general agencies’ in Aden .
