Yemen Co. for Flour Mills & Silos, a company engaged in the production and marketing of Wheat Flour and other allied products, is part of the pioneer industrial and trading group –Hayel Saeed Anam Group of Cos. in Yemen. The Company was established in the year 1997 with the aim of providing the local population with good quality wheat flour and allied products at the affordable price band. Built according to the latest international specification, the Company began production in the year 2000 with two production lines bought from the leading Swiss manufacturer, Buhler AG, with an overall production capacity of 1500 tons per day and a storage capacity of 60,000 tons & within a short span of time, the Company was able to establish its presence in the Yemeni / International markets and the ever increasing demand for the Company’s products compelled its management to consider further expansion.

1938 : Aden city , the capital of the ex-southern Yemen , witnessed the early beginnings of the Group’s activities with an initiative from the late Hayel Saeed Anam and his brothers, in trading field . The beginning was humble . It started with distributing consumer goods . Then , the activities were developed to became a part of the movement of import , export and general agencies’ in Aden .
